It all began in winter 2004. One day, Chester was removing the lint and fuzz balls on a sweater with an electric shaver and lint roller. He tried every method that he could think of, but still couldn’t get rid of all that fuzz.

Working as a dry cleaner and fabric care specialist for over 20 years, Chester immediately saw the need for a more effective product that could eliminate the problem of hard-to-remove lint and fuzz from knit garments. Therefore, he decided to invent one himself.

Born to be an artist, Chester studied Fine Art at UC Berkeley, which made him a sharp eye for the finest aspects in life. Also, being a scientist by trade, he was equipped with a mechanical mind that does everything meticulously.

After two years of intensive research and countless experiments, Chester’s revolutionary fabric care product was finally born. Grateful for the inspiration and support of his five-year-old daughter, Chester named his product “YiYi Comb.”
